Clash on Pakistan Border Stirs Afghan Emotions

Afghans carried the body of Qasim Khan, a border policeman killed in a clash with Pakistani troops on Thursday in the Gushta district of Jalalabad.

Afghan forces claimed to have overrun and destroyed a Pakistani-held border crossing, an event that provoked an outpouring of nationalist sentiment in Afghanistan.
